Mirrl is a solid surface material on a Birch plywood substrate. It is highly resilient, long lasting, waterproof, food safe, repairable and ready for joinery. Mirrl is a 1.5mm solid surface layer normally supplied on sheets of 18mm ply with 10mm trimmed off all round – so the standard sheets we produce are 2420mm x 1200mm x 19.5mm, and measure approx 2.8m² after edge dressing.

The process involves producing multiple patterned layers of tinted resin in different tones or colours onto Birch plywood.
Mirrl is hand made, so each order has a different price per unit depending on:
- how many sheets are required
- when you need the order to arrive
- any special requirements requested
To give an idea of price, a sheet of Mirrl delivered 6 to 8 weeks (lead times can vary, please get in touch for current lead times) after the order is placed costs £1650. This price includes vat but does not include delivery. We can ship to anywhere in mainland Europe, but please note there can be additional country specific delivery charges.

The products are handmade to order in our Glasgow workshop. The standard turnaround is 6 to 8 weeks after the order is placed. If workload allows, Mirrl can be produced more quickly, however an additional charge will apply.

The dimensions of a standard sheet of Mirrl are;
2420mm x 1200mm x 19.5mm, and measures approximately 2.8m² after edge dressing.
Yes, let us know when ordering and you can dress the edges yourself. The full sheet size will be 2440mm × 1220mm × 19.5mm.

Colour matched jointing compound can be supplied on request.
The sheets and bespoke objects are all handmade in our Glasgow workshop, they are then delivered directly to the customer. At present, we do not have any other distributors.

Yes, as well as choosing from one of our core range, you can work with us to create a customised option for your own requirements. You may know exactly which colours you would like, or we will chat to you about your project and design something that will suit your needs.

Mirrl is hard-wearing and durable and has longevity if fitted and looked after correctly.
Mirrl has been in production for over 15 years and there are both domestic and commercial examples that have been in daily use ever since. Having been installed correctly and been well maintained they are still in excellent condition.
